COVID-19 Info & Resources for Montgomery County, PA

The Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board (VFTCB) is committed to helping its visitors, members, and the entire community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand the significant health crisis that is occurring, and the health and safety of the community is our top priority. The organization is committed to providing travelers with information about the area. Below is a list of COVID-19 information and resources.

COVID-19 RESOURCES & INFORMATION 

In Pennsylvania & Montgomery County, masks must be worn whenever anyone leaves home. Masks are mandatory in all public spaces. Read more about the Mask Up Montco campaign here.

Pennsylvania is utilizing a three-phase matrix to determine when counties and/or regions are ready to begin easing some restrictions on work, congregate settings, and social interactions. Click here to view the phased reopening plan for Pennsylvania. As of July 3, all counties are in the green phase of reopening.

BUSINESS RESOURCES 

Businesses in Pennsylvania that are permitted to conduct in-person operations must take precautions to protect their employees, their employees’ families, and their communities as a whole. View the business guidance and business FAQ.

In Montgomery County, the Commerce Department is dedicated to helping workers and businesses address the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. For complete information and guidance, please visit the Businesses and Workers Resource website

Hospitality businesses can also get updates from the PA Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA) regarding COVID-19. 

HELPING THE COMMUNITY

In response to COVID-19, the county has established the COVID-19 Response Fund, which helps support local relief efforts in response to the coronavirus outbreak. If you would like to donate, please visit the website here.

The MontCo Anti-Hunger Network (MAHN) is a coalition of hunger relief organizations working together to keep families stable with food assistance. MAHN provides resources to food pantries that feed more than 15,000 households a year, and serve the more than 80,000 people who are food insecure in the county. You can make a donation here

The VFTCB held a #MontcoStrong t-shirt fundraiser to help support the county's COVID-19 Response Fund.  $25,000 was raised. For more information about the campaign, click here. If you are interested in a t-shirt, please contact the VFTCB by email or phone.

TRANSPORTATION

Philadelphia International Airport has partnered with Jefferson Health on a COVID-19 testing program.The Jefferson Health COVID-19 Testing Clinic at Philadelphia International Airport, powered by Rapid Reliable Testing, is located in the pre-security area of PHL Terminal E.
